We are well aware of how much discomfort and impediment to daily functioning is a large and/or complicated visual defect. How much trouble astigmatism, presbyopia or cataracts can cause. At the same time, we have the ability to carry out very detailed diagnostic tests and implement surgical treatment, which is able to free our patients from any problems with their eyesight.

Such an in-depth interview, expertly referred to as anamnesis, is designed to obtain information about the current state of the Patients’ health and their medical history, all in order to be able to quickly make a clear diagnosis and implement effective treatment. We know very well that laser intervention in the eye is a very emotional experience for many Patients, although the reality of the procedure turns out to be much friendlier than they imagine. There is not much pain associated with laser vision correction or implantation of artificial lenses – often the procedure is painless at all. So we clarify any doubts so that Pajens are unnecessarily scared, and with their full medical history we can act so that no complications arise.
Knowledge of the general health of our patients is particularly important, for example, because in addition to absolute contraindications to laser vision correction or artificial lens implantation surgery, there are also relative contraindications. This means that even in the life of a chronically ill person, such a “window in time” may appear, when the disease enters a state of remission and the performance of the dream eye surgery becomes possible.

We do not require you to provide us with test results from other locations, but if you have any, please bring them with you to your SwissLaser appointment so that we can more easily reconstruct your medical history.
We give a 10-year warranty on laser vision correction
We are confident in our skills, which is why we give our patients as much as a 5-year guarantee on laser vision correction, and any corrections (complication rates are less than 1% of cases) are included in the price of the procedure.
