Keratoconus treatment includes modern procedures aimed at strengthening the cornea, halting disease progression, and improving vision quality. The choice of treatment method is always individually tailored to the stage of the disease and the patient’s needs.
Cross-linking (CXL) is a proven method for corneal stabilization, involving its strengthening and increased mechanical resistance. The procedure can slow down or halt the progression of the disease, and in many cases, avoid the need for a corneal transplant.
CAIRS is an advanced, minimally invasive surgical procedure designed for patients requiring correction of visual distortions. The procedure utilizes natural, biocompatible segments of donor corneal tissue (KeraNatural™), which integrate with the patient’s own cornea, supporting the improvement of its shape and vision quality.

Frequently asked questions about prices
What does the price of laser vision correction include?
The price includes the procedure for both eyes, the first post-operative check-up (for surface and lens methods: 2 check-ups in the first month), and up to 5 years warranty on the correction effect. The qualification examination (PLN 400) is paid separately.
Does the NFZ (National Health Fund) refund procedures from this price list?
Laser vision correction, ICL lenses, and refractive lens exchange are not refunded by the NFZ. The exception is Crosslinking, which is covered by the NFZ – however, one must expect a long waiting time; at SwissLaser, we perform the CXL procedure privately for PLN 3,600 per eye, without a queue.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes – we cooperate with Santander Consumer Bank. Next to each item on the price list, there is an “Calculate installment” button, which allows you to immediately check the monthly amount.
Why are some prices given for a pair of eyes and others for one eye?
Laser vision correction procedures are usually performed on both eyes during one visit – that’s why we provide the price for a pair of eyes. Lens procedures (ICL, RLE, cataract) and corneal procedures (CXL, CAIRS, PTK) are charged per eye. Lens procedures are standardly performed on both eyes during one session (separately upon request), the implant is selected for each eye individually; corneal procedures are performed on each eye at a separate time.
What is the difference in the offer between Warsaw and Krakow?
Prices in both cities are identical. All procedures – laser vision correction and intraocular procedures (ICL, RLE, cataract surgery) – are performed in both Warsaw and Krakow. In both locations, we provide full diagnostics, qualification, and post-operative care; E-EYE dry eye therapy is also available in Krakow.
How much does the qualification examination cost and what does it include?
The comprehensive pre-operative examination costs PLN 400 and lasts approximately 90 minutes: interview, autorefractometry, tonometry, optometry, OCT, and fundus photography. Qualification for re-correction after a procedure at another clinic costs PLN 1,000.
