PresbyMax – Laser Presbyopia Correction
PresbyMAX (bi-aspheric, multifocal corneal ablation) is the most individualized laser vision correction profile we can currently offer patients for presbyopia, whether with co-existing refractive errors (ranging from -7.0 diopters to +3 diopters and up to 4.0 cylinders) or without them. PresbyMax is the least invasive method and results in the fewest possible complications.

How these prices differ
- PresbyMAX (laser): we preserve your natural lens; the laser shapes a multifocal corneal profile. Price is for both eyes, as both eyes are operated on in one visit.
- Lens exchange: your natural lens is replaced with a premium implant; eyes are operated on a few days to two weeks apart, hence the price per eye. Cataracts cannot develop afterwards.
- Allotex TransForm: an implant made of human collagen, implanted into the cornea, reversible; price depends on donor tissue and is determined after consultation.
- What the price does not include: qualification examination PLN 400; for lens exchange, possible YAG capsulotomy PLN 600 per eye; laser enhancement PLN 3,700 per eye only for residual refractive error.
NFZ and Presbyopia Treatment
NFZ does not finance presbyopia correction by any method. Only cataract surgery with a monofocal lens is reimbursed when cataracts are diagnosed – after which reading glasses are still needed. Those who wish to see at distance and near without glasses choose a private procedure with a premium implant.
Installments
We fill out the installment application with Santander Consumer Bank together at the clinic; the decision usually arrives within a dozen minutes. You choose the number of installments yourself; for lens exchange, you finance the second eye separately.

How much does laser presbyopia correction cost?
PresbyMAX costs PLN 15,000 for both eyes – in FemtoLASIK Wavefront or SmartSight Nova variants, at the same price. The price includes the procedure for both eyes, anesthetic drops, and a package of post-operative check-ups; up to 5 years warranty for laser procedures.
How much does lens exchange for presbyopia cost?
PLN 11,000 per eye with a premium implant: trifocal, EDOF, toric, or Customized – no surcharge for the lens type. Eyes are operated on a few days to two weeks apart; a pair of eyes costs PLN 22,000.
Is the qualification examination included in the price?
No. The examination costs PLN 400, lasts about 90 minutes, and includes corneal tomography, biometry, and a discussion about your lifestyle – only after this is it known which of the three paths makes sense. It is billed separately.
How much does Allotex TransForm cost?
Allotex TransForm is an individual procedure using a biological implant, so the exact price is provided after consultation, once we know the implant is the optimal solution. We are the only clinic in Poland that offers it.
Does NFZ reimburse presbyopia treatment?
No. Neither laser presbyopia correction nor lens exchange with a premium implant are financed by NFZ. The cost can be spread into installments with Santander Consumer Bank; we fill out the application at the clinic.
Which method is the cheapest and should it be the deciding factor?
The cheapest is laser monovision (like FemtoLASIK, PLN 11,000 for both eyes), but not everyone tolerates it. The choice should be based on age, condition of your natural lens, and expectations, not price – which is why we discuss all three paths during a single qualification.
