Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) + Premium Implants + Femtosecond Laser
RLE (Refractive Lens Exchange) or CLE (Clear Lens Extraction) involves removing the patient’s natural lens and replacing it with an advanced artificial lens that corrects vision defects. This procedure is recommended for patients with severe hyperopia, presbyopia, and astigmatism, and in some cases, also with myopia. CLE (Clear Lens Extraction), as the name suggests, is a procedure for replacing a non-cataractous lens with an artificial one.
Premium implants enable vision without glasses for both far and near distances. Individual implant fitting, discussion of the procedure, and vision based on specific calculations will be discussed during the qualification examination.
The procedure performed with a femtosecond laser increases the precision of the treatment and its anatomical accuracy. At SwissLaser, we use the low-energy ZIEMER Z8 femtosecond laser.
