The Trans-PRK Smart Surface method is the only touch-free laser vision correction method. The modern capabilities of Trans-PRK have contributed to optimizing the procedure at its most crucial point. However, this applies almost exclusively to patients with myopia or astigmatism. If hyperopia is present, Trans-PRK treatment can only be performed successfully if the number of diopters is relatively low. PRK/LASEK
Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) is a surgical procedure performed since 1987, recognized as one of the older methods of refractive laser surgery.
The procedure itself involves removing the upper cellular layer of the cornea (epithelium), and then appropriately reshaping the underlying corneal tissue using an excimer laser.
The procedures are effective and safe, and most importantly, they guarantee patients significant vision improvement.
EBK Laser Vision Correction
A method of superficial vision correction performed without chemicals, where the epithelium is removed using an Epi/Clear tool, recommended for individuals with thin corneas and those prone to eye injuries.
