FEMTO-LASIK
In the modern FEMTO-LASIK method, the cornea is opened with a high-precision femtosecond laser. The laser operation is computer-controlled, and the surgeon also has a microscope at their disposal, which guarantees maximum precision and the choice of diameter and thickness of the separated corneal flap. The flap is lifted on a “hinge” to allow the cornea to be reshaped using an excimer laser.

SMARTSIGHT – Minimally Invasive Microlens
SmartSight is a modern femtosecond laser procedure belonging to the so-called flapless methods (without flap). These methods involve creating a so-called lenticule (a microlens created from a thin fragment of the cornea) inside the intact cornea. Next, a minimally invasive incision is made for access. Through this small opening, the intracorneal lens can then be removed. It is also possible to apply so-called static cyclorotation compensation.
The SMARTSIGHT procedure cannot be performed for medical reasons on the same day as the preoperative examination
