ANTERION® is a modular ophthalmic diagnostic platform for imaging the anterior segment of the eye.

ANTERION® harnesses the power of high-resolution swept source OCT imaging to provide the most important anterior segment examinations and measurements in a single modular, expandable platform. Optimized for the anterior segment, this multimodal imaging platform combines corneal topography and tomography, anterior segment measurement of the eye, axial length measurement, and IOL ( Intraocular lens power calculation) calculation to facilitate the routine cataract surgery procedure, as well as in glaucoma diagnosis and corneal examination.

ANTERION provides high-quality images and comprehensive measurements while minimizing the time required for multiple anterior segment examinations. At the same time, visual confirmation of all measurements with high-resolution swept source OCT images guarantees diagnostic confidence. The base of the ANTERION platform is the imaging module (app) Imaging App, which, thanks to additional modules: Cornea, Cataract, Metrics, adapts to the user’s needs and allows diagnosis of any clinical case.

  • Imaging App provides high-resolution imaging of the entire anterior segment of the eye, from the anterior surface of the cornea, to the posterior surface of the lens. The resulting swept-source OCT images guarantee the reliability of the diagnosis.
  • The Cornea App provides a comprehensive diagnostic solution for assessing a patient’s individual corneal geometry. It allows the diagnosis or monitoring of corneal changes, efficient planning and evaluation of the effects of refractive surgery. The combination of high-resolution OCT images and corneal measurements provides an in-depth assessment: including a map of the curvature and anterior and posterior sections of the corneal surface. Total corneal power, pachymetry and corneal wavefront analysis provide the clear information needed to make specific diagnostic decisions.
  • The Cataract App allows you to take key measurements as part of cataract surgery planning: corneal analysis, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness and axial length. These measurements are of the highest quality even in very advanced (dense) cataracts. The ability to assess total corneal power ensures optimal implantable lens (IOL) selection, and an integrated spherical and toric IOL calculator adds convenience to the preoperative routine.
  • The Barret module includes calculation formulas for calculating toric lenses. It works only in conjunction with the Cataract.Metrics App module in addition to the commonly used parameters, the Metrics app also offers measurements of anterior chamber volume, lens thickness and vault. The module contains exceptionally clear swept source OCT images with a radial view of the anterior chamber.
