All-Laser-LASIK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FEMTO-LASIK method, also known as All-Laser-LASIK, is the next step in the evolution of the modern LASIK procedure. In the traditional LASIK laser treatment, the cornea is cut with a scalpel (microkeratome), which carries certain risks. In the modern FEMTO-LASIK method, the cornea is opened with a high-precision femtosecond laser. The laser’s operation is computer-controlled, and the surgeon also has a microscope at their disposal, ensuring maximum precision and the ability to select the diameter and thickness of the separated corneal flap. The flap is lifted on a ‘hinge’ to allow the cornea to be reshaped with an excimer laser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The corneal flap in the FemtoLASIK method is created with greater precision than in the traditional LASIK method, which impacts the entire architecture of the procedure. With FemtoLASIK, it is easier to create a larger flap, leading to better visual quality. Procedures performed with a femtosecond laser guarantee a lower number of complications, and if they do occur, they are easier to manage. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

High Precision of FEMTO-LASIK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The high precision of the FEMTO-LASIK procedure means that it can also be performed on individuals with significant vision defects, thin corneas<\/strong>, and large pupils. It is generally accepted that the following conditions qualify for FEMTO-LASIK correction<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
