The difference lies in the goal and technology. In RLE, we remove the lens before cataracts fully develop, to treat presbyopia.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>How do Trifocal and EDOF lenses differ?<\/strong> Trifocal lenses provide sharpness at three points: distance, computer, near reading.
