Lens exchange to correct presbyopia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

RLE (refractive lens exchange<\/em>) or CLE (clear lens extraction<\/em>), which is a refractive lens exchange<\/strong>, involves removing the patient’s natural lens and replacing it with an advanced technology artificial lens<\/strong> that corrects vision defects. This procedure is recommended for patients with severe farsightedness, presbyopia<\/strong>, and astigmatism, and in some cases, also nearsightedness.<\/strong>CLE (clear lens extraction<\/em>), as the name suggests, is a procedure to replace a non-cataractous lens<\/strong> with an artificial one. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Refractive Lens Exchange \u2013 Procedure Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If a person with presbyopia, nearsightedness, or farsightedness undergoes refractive lens exchange surgery<\/strong>, the risk of cataracts will be eliminated. This is because the natural lens<\/strong> is replaced by an artificial one that is not susceptible to clouding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refractive lens exchange can also be performed on patients who have previously undergone laser vision correction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chances of success for the lens exchange<\/strong> procedure using this method (i.e., aspirating the natural lens with a modern and highly precise phacoemulsifier) are very high<\/strong>, and t<\/strong>he procedure itself is reliable<\/strong>.
