PTK or Trans-PTK \u2013 removal of scars (opacities) or other corneal irregularities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Corneal opacities impair light transmission into the eye, similar to a dirty camera lens. These opacities can be removed using a laser. Furthermore, the PTK method can treat spontaneous, recurrent, painful ruptures of the corneal surface (recurrent erosion). Without treatment, the probability of recurrence is significantly higher than after treatment. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
